wouldn't you be better off running this with a W/Me?
you wouldn't die to others whacking you with their big swords...
With only a few mesmer skills, the most costly being 10e, you could get by with the lower energy of the warrior and benefit greatly from the armor.
I know it would change the entire thing, but...

isnt drain enchantment inspiration? you probably want shatter
a warrior would smash you for sure but if you were left alone you could give fits to a caster.

I just gave this a whirl in teams pvp and it is indeed awesome...I would think about taking this build down as it is overpowered...this could be the next IWAY....but for a team of mes...I love it and will use it for a while...
I think people might leave you alone...thats what I found...people think..."mes??? bah who cares..Ill kill the monk or nec first"...dumb them...

lol, I have NEVER been left alone with my mesmer. Especially when I get up close on someone. As soon as I get close to the other team, ALL their warriors think "Hmmm, there's a squishy mesmer. I'll go beat on him with my whoopin' stick"

The build relies heavily on the suprise factor. Anything that may seem more sensible would thus be detrimental. We wouldn't want to compromise its leetness.

Players will think you use IW because you have a sword in hand but its not true. Good against casters who try to run away from you(Boon monks in any case)

I have to say, it may be fine in Arenas. But you'll get smashed in Teams, even.

I think I'd have to agree. You don't have anything to fall back on, when people overcome their momentary suprise. It's a fun build though.
